Maximus XXX House of Forged Graphite Shaft

  • The Maximus is our newest Long Drive shaft (48").
  • This shaft was developed for House of Forged by John Oldenburg, the new shaft designer at LA Golf Shafts. John is one of the most renowed shaft designers in the world, having designed the shafts that have won more than twenty major golf titles.
  • The Maximus features an extremely strong mid section.
  • The shaft weight has been increased to standard long-driver shaft weight for increased strength and durability.
  • Firm tip section and a high bend point promote a controlled ball flight preferred by players with high swing speed.
  • This shaft will initially be offered in X/255-cpm, XX+/270-cpm, and XXXX/285-cpm flexes with the weight running at 64-66-68/grams respectively.  The shaft is strong from butt-to-tip.  It is a firm tip-section with the torque lowered down to 2.2 for stability and a solid feel at impact. The initial prototype testing showed increases of 2-to-3/mph in ball-speed with spin-rates lowered by 100-to-300/rpm for top competitors.
  • All four of the top Long Drive competitors who used the Maximus at the 2019 World Championships made it into the Top 16
  • The shaft bears the new silver and gunmetal logo with an American Flat, as this shaft is made in the USA.
  • House-of-Forged graphite shafts are made in the USA in small batches by Matrix, however designed and proven by the feedback of numermous Long Driver players and champions. House of Forged shafts have dominated long-drive competition, beating all of the major shaft companies to win five Open Division World Long Drive Championships; including Justin James' win at the 2017 world long-drive open division championship along with Jeff Crittenden's win in the Master's Division at the 2019 world championships
