Eddie Fernandes
"Fast" Eddie Fernandes is an American Golf Professional as well as a Long Drive Professional. He is the 2018 Volvik Masters World Long Drive Champion. His longest ball in competition is 480 yards which was also the longest ball of the 2018 World Long Drive Tour season. He has made six World Long Drive Championship Open appearances and was the 2015 United States Senior Long Drive Champion. He was a very accomplished player in High School, College and as a Professional competing on the Florida mini tours. He was recently inducted into the Southington High School Sports Hall of Fame and the Central Connecticut State University Athletic Hall of Fame. He is a member of the the Callaway Long Drive Team and currently ranked #1 in the world in the Masters Division and 14th in the world in the Open Division (Golf Channel official World Rankings). He is the oldest to ever win an Open division Long Drive event at 47 (2018 Endless Summer Invitational in Huntington Beach, CA.) Eddie's swing is considered to be one of the most beautiful and most powerful in the world. He performs and helps raise money for all different Charity Golf Outings, Foundations, Celebrity / Professional Athlete Fundraisers and Corporate Events. He also speaks in front of Corporate sales forces and executives about his incredible story of perseverance, determination and drive.
